Italian artist Riccardo Guasco imagines football
Riccardo describes his inspiration to capture the physical world as a means to adequately come to terms with his curiosity, but also to communicate with the world in a way that may leave a mark. Living in Milan for a few years, it’s not difficult to see how calcio crept in to his life. In his portrayal of a footballer, Guasco creates a strong, powerful figure, while focusing on a style that stems from the likes of Picasso, Munari, and Rodari. [See more of Signor Guasco’s art here]
